| Monday we had another visit at the new house and brought along the builder. It was a lot neater than the previous visits but Fabri still insists it seems small. I was pleased to note that it seems bigger. I guess everyone sees tings differently. I asked the builder about extending the upstairs rooms, the balcony and supporting walls and he says everything can be done how we want it. The garden was in flower and absolutely gorgeous. A little piece of paradise. Sera went to a princess dancing class and had her first real dance recital. She learnt all the steps and I was a silly, giggly, proud mother. |
Lunedi abbiamo avuti un altro soppraluogo nella casa nuova e l'abbiamo fatto anceh vedere al costruttore che seguirà il progetto. E' 'stato molto più ordinato rispetto alle visite precedenti, ma Fabri insiste che sembra piccola ancora. A me sembrava più grande. Credo che tutti vedono in modo diverso. Il giardino era in fiore e assolutamente stupendo. Un piccolo pezzo di paradiso. Sera è andato a una classe di danza e ha avuto il suo primo vero e proprio spettacolo come ballerina. Ha imparato tutti i passi ed ero una stupida, ridente, madre orgogliosa. |
| The weekend was spent mostly outdoors with various picnics and activities. Milan is getting very busy leadingup to EXPO 2015 and I took Sera to meet friends at the Rotondo della Besana where they were hosting Piano concerts for 'Piano City'. We ate at a restaurant with dodgy translation skills... I think they'll have a hard time finding a tourist who wants to eat 'Fried Calf Brains with Artichokes'. My new cookbook arrived so I was back in the kitchen and even managed to make up some new recipes for you all. I'll try to geta few posted this week. |
Il fine settimana è stato stavamo sempre all'aperto con varie pic-nic e attività. Milano sta diventando molto interessante nel'anticipo del EXPO 2015. Ho portata Sera a trovare amici al Rotondo della Besana dove abbiamo trovati concerti di pianoforte per 'Piano City'. Abbiamo mangiato in un ristorante che hanno trodotto malissima il menu in Inglese. Avranno difficoltà a trovare un turista che vuole mangiare 'Fried Calf Brains with Artichokes'. Il mio nuovo libro di cucina è arrivato quindi ero tornato in cucina e persino riuscito a fare alcune nuove ricette per tutti voi. Cercherò di pubblicarli questa settimana. |
